Meet Nicole,
Founder and Lead Designer
As a mom of six, she has spent years living the full rhythm of home — from the joyful chaos of raising kids to the calm of thoughtfully curated spaces. For over 15 years, she homeschooled her children and poured her energy into creating a home that nurtured, inspired, and reflected the values they hold dear. That experience taught her that design isn’t just about beauty — it’s about creating an environment that supports your lifestyle, reflects your story, and brings a sense of peace and purpose to your every day.
At Texture Home, she and her team specialize in personalized, one-of-a-kind interiors that can’t be found in a retail store. Their process is rooted in intentionality, fueled by creativity, and grounded in faith — the foundation of everything they do. From concept to completion, they offer a hands-on studio experience where clients can see, touch, and feel the details that will make their space truly theirs.
With experience in managing a household of eight and a deep understanding of how people truly live, she is here to help clients create interiors that are both custom and cohesive — layered, timeless, and uniquely theirs.
Meet Mattie,
Junior Designer
Mattie first joined Texture Home as an intern during her final semester of college and instantly connected with the way the team designs—intentionally, collaboratively, and with real life in mind. After graduating with a Bachelor’s in Interior Architecture from East Tennessee State University, she came on full-time as a Junior Designer in June.
She approaches each project with fresh eyes, thoughtful inquiry, and a drive to refine the details. Day to day, that looks like drawings, specifications, finish sourcing, and the small decisions that make a home feel effortless. Mattie is hands-on in the studio so clients can see, touch, and experience the layers that make a space truly theirs.
She’s actively growing her craft through project work and mentorship—researching materials, refining documentation, coordinating orders and deliveries, supporting installs, and continually tightening the process. At Texture Home, the approach is rooted in intention and fueled by creativity; Mattie’s goal is to pair enduring foundations with a modern sensibility and help clients fall in love with home—every day.
