Ending Well, Starting Well
January invited us to pause, reflect, and reset—and it felt so good to do just that. We wrapped up several projects at the end of last year, and there’s something incredibly fulfilling about seeing a home fully realized. Ending those projects well gave us clarity and momentum as we step into 2026!
Now, we’re beginning new projects, and I can already envision them coming to life—spaces layered with intention and purpose. This month reminded me how powerful it is to both end well and start well.
Color Crush of the Month: Burgundy
January’s Color Crush of the month is burgundy—a shade rich with depth and quiet confidence. Burgundy has a way of bringing instant soul to a space. It feels expressive yet grounded, bold without being overwhelming, and timeless in the way only truly classic colors can be.
In interiors, burgundy creates an atmosphere that feels layered and intentional. It adds richness through textiles, accents, and statement pieces, making a room feel complete and thoughtfully composed.
This color felt like the perfect way to begin the year: strong, refined, and full of character. Burgundy reminds us that a fresh start doesn’t have to feel stark—it can be warm, welcoming, and beautifully grounded.

Sneak Peek: #thetealedit
One of the highlights of January was the launch of #thetealedit—a very personal project for me. This is my own kitchen remodel, thoughtfully designed to support the way my family truly lives, gathers, and connects. Sharing this space has been both exciting and meaningful, as it reflects so much of what I believe about design: intentional, layered, functional, and deeply personal. I can’t wait to reveal more as this project unfolds!
