May Journal

Designed for Summer Living

As summer approaches, many homeowners begin looking at their spaces differently—seeking homes that feel lighter, more welcoming, and supportive of the way they gather and live every day.

At Texture Home, May was centered around that idea. From refreshing the showroom to continued progress on The Teal Edit, this month reflected the beauty of intentional living and thoughtful design.

Summer Refresh Sale

Thank you to everyone who supported our Summer Refresh Sale this month. It was such a joy seeing clients thoughtfully refresh their homes with pieces designed to feel both beautiful and livable.

As the season continues, the showroom is beginning to shift once again, making room for new layers, fresh inspiration, and exciting additions we can’t wait to share. If you missed the sale, don’t worry—there will be more opportunities throughout the year to shop and refresh your home with us.

Be sure to follow along on Instagram to stay connected with what’s new in the store and upcoming events and promotions.

Color of the Month: Violet

After spending time at the spring market, violet quickly became one of the colors that stood out most throughout the showrooms. There was something about it that felt fresh, layered, and unexpected in the best way.

Lighter shades like violet have a beautiful way of softening a space while also helping deeper tones and neutrals stand out even more. Even a subtle touch of this color can bring dimension, contrast, and freshness into a room.

While it feels especially fitting for spring and summer, violet still carries a timeless quality that allows it to live beautifully in a home year-round.

The Teal Edit Update

This month brought exciting progress on The Teal Edit. Cabinet doors and drawers have been installed, countertops are in, flooring has been added in the den, and the custom plaster range hood is beginning to take shape.

At this stage of a renovation, countless design decisions are happening behind the scenes—many of which homeowners don’t initially anticipate. From material coordination to balancing functionality and aesthetics, having a designer involved throughout the process helps create clarity and cohesion every step of the way.

Slowly but surely, the vision is beginning to come together!

Looking Ahead to Summer

This summer, we’re focusing on homes designed for gathering and hospitality. Spaces that feel comfortable and lived in, while still welcoming people in.

We believe a thoughtfully designed home changes not only how a space looks, but how it feels to live there every day.

As we move into the season ahead, we’re excited to continue sharing inspiration centered around intentional summer living, layered homes, and creating spaces meant to be enjoyed.

If you’ve been wanting that feeling in your home, we would love to help you bring it to life.
